Here is the route Odysseus followed on his way home. Note where the line begins and where it ends. The two locations aren't far apart... so why did the voyage take 10 years?
Record their stops and the dangers each location entail in your JOURNAL using this basic timeline as your guide.
Focus your attention on the Lotus Eaters, the Cyclops, Circe, the Sirens, and Calypso.
Remember to look at this through the lens of your role!!!

Once you have the information compiled in your two journals, work with your group to create a handbook that Odysseus could have used to avoid all of his troubles along the voyage home. Your group will have to present this handbook to the class and hand in a final copy to your teacher.
